Conceptual Self Portrait:
I wanted the people around me to be able to participate in my project, because I am a combination of all the people closest to me. The concept for my project is based on how I see myself vs. how others see me.
To begin, I collected some writing from my friends and family. I had each of them write out my first name and two to three words or phrases that they thought described me. What remains is a beautiful culmination of how the people close to me influence who I am

Long Distance:
This piece is about the effects of a long distance relationship. The column of drawings on the left is the before, and the right is the after. Simple things like talking vs. texting can become more difficult and skewed.
